Preston Development is a company that I, Dan'l Preston, created in 2000 after years of training to become a Master Craftsmen. My father has been a builder my entire life and started training me to follow in his footsteps at a very young age. Over the years, I trained in many different fields of construction from foundations and flat work, excavation and underground, plumbing, electrical, roofing, drywall and painting, log accents and furniture, all leading to my passion of working with wood to create beautiful homes. I also studied the art of business through my father and many other mentors. All this and a lot of hard work has led to what I am today.

I am a life long resident of Tahoe and have deep roots here. I have a strong conection with the land and the people. Community is important to me. The friends that I have made in the construction business have created a strong sense of team work and comradre. I only use subcontractors that are licensed and insured; people that I trust and can call friends.

Two words that describe Preston Development: Clean and Meticulous. If my name is going on something, it is the best. Every home I build is the best quality possible. I am proud of my business and look at all the homes I have built as my masterpieces. My crew and I work hard to make our homes a place that you would love to call home.
